Milestones: Build-your-own-“farm-fork”
We take concrete steps to implement our commitments for supporting local farm, improving food supply chain sustainability, supporting local community, providing fresh and healthy foods for customers:
- [x] March 2024 and onward, Finnish “local farm” (Majvik Biodynamic Farm), organic and Demeter carrots and purple onions;
- [x] March 2024 and onward, the Aitomore AI boosted software system is launched in Aito Fresh restaurant to help explaining about the origin of ingredients to consumers;
- [x] March 2024 and onward, all eggs are Finnish
- [x] March 2024 and onward, all cucumbers are Finnish cucumbers
- [x] April 2024 and onward, cucumber juice made from cucumber flesh (parts not used in the salad) launched (saving side stream)
- [x] May 2024 and onward, Finnish “local farm” (Majvik Biodynamic Farm), organic beetroot, parsnip and turnip
- [x] June 2024, Finnish apple juice from Öfvergårds in Tjudö, Åland's apple kingdom, award-winning product
- [ ] May 2024, Finnish, Meadowsweet sparkling drink, being ordered, upcoming!
